Join us for the August Membership Luncheon sponsored by GMFS Mortgage. We will present contribution checks to the Raising the Roof for Charity partners, announce the winners of the 2018 Northshore Parade of Homes, and hear from St. Tammany Parish Assessor Louis Fitzmorris.

Raising the Roof for Charity is an annual project of the Northshore Home Builders Association in which our members pool their talents to build a home and raffle off its proceeds for local charities. Since 1994, Raising the Roof for Charity has given away over $5 million dollars to our local community. This year’s proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West, St. Tammany Hospital Foundation, and the Louisiana Children’s Discovery Center.

For over 30 years, the premier builders on the Northshore showcase their talents in the Northshore Home Builders Association Parade of Homes. The Parade of Homes is a free, public event where you have the opportunity to view beautiful homes that feature the latest innovations and designs in new home construction.

St. Tammany Parish Assessor Louis Fitzmorris first took office in 2013 as our new assessor. He was then reelected and began his second term in January 2017.  Fitzmorris served as Mayor for the Town of Abita Springs for 10 years prior to being elected assessor and also spent 19 years as a successful business owner.  Assessor Fitzmorris is a graduate of Louisiana State University and grew up here in St. Tammany Parish in the small Village of Sun. He and his wife Tawnya (pronounced Tonya) have been married for 35 years and reside in Abita Springs.  They have two daughters, a son and are the proud grandparents to one grandson.

This event is for members only - pre-registration required. The last day to register is Friday, August 17 at 4PM.
